REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY

This policy outlines Marqueeteer’s refund and cancellation terms. By engaging Marqueeteer, you acknowledge and accept the terms set forth in this document.


7-DAY MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE

Marqueeteer offers a 7-day on all new clients. If you are dissatisfied for any reason within 7 days of your start date, you may request a refund.

Refund Terms

  • Available within 7 days of your onboarding date (Day 1 = day payment is received)
  • Full refund of your initial subscription payment, minus a $99 Early Termination Fee
  • Early Termination Fee covers the cost of reverting all setup work from your profile
  • Refund processed within 5 business days
  • Your profile will be reverted to its original state (see Account Reversion below)

How to Request a Refund
Email support@marqueeteer.com with subject line “7-Day Refund Request” and include your account email and business name.

Refund Eligibility

  • First month only; subsequent months are non-refundable
  • Applies to all service tiers: Basic, Standard, and Premium
  • Early Termination Fee ($99) applies to all 7-day cancellations and is non-waivable

ACCOUNT REVERSION (MANDATORY)

When your 7-day refund is approved, Marqueeteer will revert your Google Business Profile to its original state. Account reversion is mandatory and non-negotiable—you cannot keep any work performed during the 7-day period.

What Gets Reverted
All work performed by Marqueeteer during the first 7 days will be removed:

  • All Google Posts published
  • All profile optimization changes
  • All profile edits, descriptions, and attributes
  • All service area or category changes

Timeline

  • Reversion completed within 2 business days of refund approval
  • Confirmation sent via email upon completion
  • Your profile will be identical to its state before you signed up with Marqueeteer

PAYMENT PROCESSOR DEDUCTIONS

Refunds are processed net of any fees charged by your payment processor. You receive whatever amount reaches your account after processor fees.


NO-REFUND POLICY (AFTER 7 DAYS)

After your 7-day guarantee period expires, Marqueeteer operates on a no-refund basis.


BILLING CYCLE AND PAYMENT TERMS

Billing Schedule
Marqueeteer operates on a mid-month billing cycle. Subscriptions renew on the 15th of each month, and invoices are sent in advance.

First Invoice
Your first invoice is prorated based on your start date. For example, if you start on April 5, you’re initially charged only for April 5-14. Your next full invoice is due April 15 for the April 15-May 15 service period.

Payment Due
All invoices are due within 7 days of receipt. Day 1 of service begins when payment is processed.

Ongoing Service
After your first month, you’re invoiced on the 15th of each month for the upcoming month’s service. Your subscription renews automatically unless you provide 30 days’ written cancellation notice.


CANCELLATION AND TERMINATION

How to Cancel
Submit a cancellation request via email to support@marqueeteer.com (subject: “Cancellation Request”). Include your account email and business name.

30-Day Notice Period
Cancellation becomes effective 30 days after your request. You’ll continue receiving full service during this period. Access to your profile is revoked 5 business days after the notice period expires.

Invoice Upon Cancellation
Upon cancellation request, you’ll receive an invoice for remaining days of service through the end of your current billing cycle. This invoice is due within 7 days and is non-refundable.

Transfer Fees
Any fees incurred during the transfer of your Google Business Profile to another provider or service are your responsibility. Marqueeteer is not liable for transfer-related costs.

After Cancellation
Your Google Business Profile remains active and accessible through your Google account. All work performed by Marqueeteer—posts, optimization, improvements—remains in your profile. You retain full ownership and control.

FAILED PAYMENTS AND ACCOUNT SUSPENSION

If payment fails, Marqueeteer will notify you and attempt to collect using your payment method on file. You have 5 business days to provide updated payment information.

If payment is not received within 30 days of the due date, Marqueeteer may suspend your account and cease service. You remain responsible for all outstanding fees, which may be pursued through collection action.


TIER CHANGES AND UPGRADES

Upgrading
You may upgrade to a higher tier at any time. The upgrade fee is prorated for the remainder of your billing cycle. For example: if you have 10 days remaining and upgrade from Basic ($149) to Premium ($399), you’re charged ($399 – $149) ÷ 30 × 10 = $83.33. The upgrade takes effect immediately.

Downgrading
You may downgrade to a lower tier at any time. The new rate applies on your next billing date. No refund or credit is issued for the difference.


DISPUTING A CHARGE

Contact support@marqueeteer.com within 30 days of any disputed charge with your account details and reason for dispute. Marqueeteer will review and respond within 5 business days.

If you initiate a chargeback through your payment processor without first contacting Marqueeteer, your account will be immediately terminated. You forfeit remaining service days and may be permanently banned from using Marqueeteer’s services. Marqueeteer may pursue recovery of chargeback fees imposed by your payment processor.


SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES

Marqueeteer Service Closure
If Marqueeteer ceases operations, you’ll be notified via email and your subscription will be terminated immediately at no charge. No refunds will be issued for unused service time. You retain access to your profile through your Google account.

Google Business Profile API Unavailability
If Google’s GBP API becomes unavailable beyond Marqueeteer’s control, Marqueeteer is not liable for inability to provide services. Your subscription continues to be billed during outages. No refunds or credits are issued. Marqueeteer will work to restore service when the API becomes available.

Service Quality Issues
Contact support@marqueeteer.com with detailed information about any service quality issues. Marqueeteer will investigate and may issue a service credit at its sole discretion for verified service failures.


UNPAID INVOICES AND COLLECTION

If you fail to pay invoices, Marqueeteer may pursue collection action through legal channels, refer your account to a collections agency, and seek recovery of collection costs and attorney fees. You remain responsible for all unpaid fees and associated collection costs.


CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

Marqueeteer may update this policy at any time. Updated versions will be posted at marqueeteer.com/refund-and-cancellation-policy with an updated “Last Updated” date.

Your continued use of Marqueeteer’s services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. If you object to material changes, you may cancel your subscription with 30 days’ notice.
